Hard Rock Biloxi Expanding?

Hard Rock Biloxi MississippiRead an article this morning that talks about the Hard Rock expanding onto the old Windjammer site. (This is the parcel between the Hard Rock and Beau Rivage). Here is a little piece, I was not able to confirm anything from the Hard Rock website or press releases.

“We really believe the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock are part of your downtown” and can be a catalyst for development, said Stephen Turner, director of Economic Development for Rock Hill, S.C. They envision a pedestrian bridge across U.S. 90 to the upper level of the Hard Rock expansion on the former Windjammer site. “We know that the Hard Rock is expanding into this parcel,” said urban designer Thomas McGilloway of Mahan Rykiel Associates, and he suggested making the bridge whimsical like a piece of art.

We feel an expansion is positive for Biloxi and this could greatly benefit that area of downtown and expand growth for other business. Once we get plans or layouts will be post more info here..

Beau Rivage Reviews

Some nice positive reviews I found over at a poker forum that I read.

I just got back from the Beau today. All I can say is WOW. I have played there before but never stayed there.

We got the poker rate of $99 ($79 weekdays). We checked in and they gave me the rate right there. I was told on the phone that you could not split time between players. When I got there I inquired if I needed to have them verify my hours before I left and they said no, that they didn’t really check hours and as long as they gave me the rate at check in I was good.

As for the comps. I am amazed at how they treated us. I ate 5 meals while there and didn’t pay for one. When I asked for a comp I was never asked how long I had been playing or had my hours checked on my players card. The service in the poker room as well as the entire hotel was first class. The staff was the friendliest I have seen. The friend that went with me was at the table where the bad beat was hit. They were told it took about 3 hours to verify the jackpot and get them their money so they had to stick around. For the inconvience they let them play rake free until they all got there money.

The rooms and the entire hotel are beautiful. I think the Beau is in a different class than anything you will find in Tunica. It is the place to go if you are bring the wife.

Beau Rivage Review

I was at the Beau Rivage a few weeks ago. The rooms there are super nice, they are suites compared to Tunica. If you don’t like the drive to Grand’s hotel why not stay at the Goldstrike in Tunica. If I got my choice I’m taking the Beau. Its warm enough now the girls can walk out their door and onto the beach. I got a mailer from the Beau last week they offered me free rooms any day and 150 bucks free slot play, same for my wife. I guess I’ll take another trip back down there. We only stayed there 1 night so I can’t answer your other questions, I played poker for a few hours, no limit the room was pretty busy.

Don’t forget the during the Thursday nights this summer, the Beau has an outdoor party in their pool area. It can get crowded up there and is a lot of fun! Check out more info: Club Tiki at Beau Rivage
