I was over at the Biloxi Blog yesterday and they posted something about The Grand Biloxi offering 10x points on Tuesday mornings. This is a great offer, and a great way to your name on a mailer list or to build your points up fast. So go get there this morning!
Grand Biloxi introduces 10x Multiplier Days in July.
Join us every Tuesday and swipe your Total Rewards card at a Special Events kiosk from 8 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Then sit back, play your favorite slots and watch your Reward Credits multiply by 10!
Allow up to 96 hours for Reward Credits to show up in your account.
Two things that are kinda annoying. First you have to scan your card first at the special events kiosk, don’t forget to to do this! Secondly, it could take up to 96 hours for the bonus credits to post to your account. If you are on a short stay or need some extra points for some type of comp, this delay could play a factor.
As always, good luck!
This will not be a casino site, but it is great news for Biloxi Casinos and the whole Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Since Katrina there has been a shortage of lodging and hotel rooms on the coast. Now that that Sheraton is coming in, it will offer an affordable and quality hotel to the coast. And don’t worry, it is at the location of the former Gulf Towers (Intersection of I-110 and U.S. 90, Biloxi), so it is very close the to “casino strip”.
Here are a couple tidbits from the Sun Herald article:
“The building is currently under renovation and the opening is planned for early in 2009,” said Smith. The Gulf Towers apartment building was damaged by Hurricane Katrina and was gutted to the concrete shell by the former owner. The new hotel will feature 195 guest rooms, restaurant, bar, workout facilities and meeting space. The tropical resort swimming pool will face the Mississippi Sound in front of the hotel and include a pool bar and grill.
Early 2009 is right around the corner…
Four Points hotels are typically tourist friendly and offer lower rates than many upscale Sheraton hotels, and extra value with free in-room bottled water, free high speed Internet access and free gyms.
Now that is what I call a deal! Free WIFI, no $4 bottle of waters, and you can get a free workout.
Here is a picture of what it plans to look like.
